The service dog life isn't for everyone. Some of our dogs, lovingly referred to as "career changers," let us know that they would prefer to do something else, be it competing sports, doing detection work, or relaxing at home as beloved family pets. These wonderful pups may face minor challenges, such as being a bit more vocal than a service dog should, feeling uneasy in crowded spaces, feeling wary of strangers, or simply deciding service life is too slow paced for them. However they decide, their unique personalities and charm make them exceptional companions . With their extensive foundational training, they often exhibit manners and skills that surpass those of typical pets.
